It’s all ages and alcohol free; I think I will be bringing baked goods. Wholesome! This whole show is going to be full of droney, loopy, echoey, poppy noisy goodness. Hedia makes me feel all drab n’ ordinary with my cello by rocking the Viola da Gamba- so great!

In C with the Slight Harp Orchestra 4/30 in Denver
I’m playing cello with the Slight Harp orchestra, performing Terry Riley’s “In C.” We’re opening for Dan Deacon at the Bluebird Theater. I’ve been wanting to play this piece for a while, and am very excited about the context/ collaborators!

Sister Alchemy video
Uploaded the Donovan Quinn and the 13th Month super-8 “video” today, the beauty of the film grain definitely loses something in the digital translation (especially at the end, which is push-processed) but I don’t think it looks too bad.
I’ve generally been pretty resistant to making music videos, but now I’m kinda pumped to try and make more considering how many talented folkses I’m lucky to know. To the future! Again, check out Donovan and company here.
