I’ll be traveling to Yuma, Colorado September 10-12 to check out the M12 Experimental Site and participate in Old Threshers.
I’ve been very interested in ideas like re-skilling and John Michael Greer’s conception of Green Wizards who sort of keep alive “old fashioned” technologies that we’re going to need in the world once fossil fuels have been depleted. So I’m very excited to go hang out with folks who are raising draft animals, practicing blacksmithing, and doing other neat things that most people relegate to the past but will almost certainly come in quite handy at some point in the future. Can’t wait to report back!
